Quash Soundproofing

We moved into our dream home two and a half years ago out on a 5 acre property. The neighbours out here are all really good except for one of the neighbours with their barking dogs. They are not bad people except they don't really care that their dogs bark A LOT. It doesn't seem to bother them or wake them through the night but it does us.After multiple attempts to get the neighbours to sort it out, without any lasting success (they tried a few things but then gave up when it all became too hard), I contacted Nigel from Quash. Nigel had done some work for me in the previous house we owned, in my theater room. The work he had done previously far exceeded my expectations so I had no dramas getting him out to come up with a solution for us with the barking dogs.We ended up getting a secondary glazing installed in the master bedroom, and had the door replaced with a sound proof door with seals all the way around it. We were expecting to still be able to hear the dogs but at a greatly reduced level (a level that wasn't going to affect us sleeping). Once again the results from Quash far exceeded our expectations. When in the room, with the door closed we can't hear the dogs barking at all.Nigel did explain to us that it is hard to completely block out a barking dog, and with the work done it might still be slightly audible. He did a good job managing expectations, but we couldn't be happier with the end result. We have done a few improvements to the property since we have been out here but this one is by far the best. Absolutely worth every dollar spent.

Quash solved a tricky problem in our new house in july 2022. There was a 'wall' between two bedrooms that was nothing more than the back of a wardrobe boarded over. There may as well have been no wall - in fact I think it was worse because the wardrobe acted like a drum! Nigel and his team devised a solution and then deployed it. Quash installed their soundproofing solution in my bedroom recently. It helped to reduce a great deal of noise but not the annoying hum coming from next door's air conditioner compressor. I told Quash about it and they set about finding a solution. They implemented something additional to stop the noisy hum from reaching my bedroom. They did not charge me for this addition to the original installation. I am extremely impressed with their excellent, courteous and over the top customer service and very grateful for their post installation fix to make sure I get a good night's sleep.
